Peter Allen David, an American author born on September 23, 1956, is the creator of "Skippy the Jedi Droid." Predominantly recognized for his contributions to comic books and Star Trek novels, he often quips that he is a "Writer of Stuff." Among David's works for Dark Horse Comics are the teen spy adventure series SpyBoy and the Star Wars Tales story titled "Skippy the Jedi Droid."
Beyond his involvement with Star Wars, particularly at Marvel Comics, David has penned stories for titles such as The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, X-Factor, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Spider, and the comic adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower, as well as Halo: Helljumper and the 2011 video game Spider-Man: Edge of Time. At DC Comics, his writing credits include Aquaman, Young Justice, Supergirl, and Fallen Angel, along with contributions to several episodes of Cartoon Network's Young Justice animated series. Furthermore, he has contributed to other TV shows and video games, including Babylon 5, Ben 10: Alien Force, and he co-created the sci-fi sitcom Space Cases for Nickelodeon.
