Phor Cl-lan was a Quarren male technician. During the era of the Galactic Civil War, he resided on the planet Lok.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Phor Cl-lan served as the water treatment technician for Nym's Stronghold. This city was under the control of the pirate warlord Nym and the Lok Revenants.
In the year 1 ABY, the city's water treatment plant, responsible for providing potable water, malfunctioned. It became incapable of properly filtering the water sourced from Lok's sulfurous rivers. Unfortunately, Phor Cl-lan lacked the necessary components to repair the filtration system. Consequently, the water supplied to the inhabitants of Nym's Stronghold became contaminated with sulfur, sparking a revolt against Nym. The warlord then assigned a dependable spacer to address the issue. This spacer agreed to assist Phor Cl-lan, who required specific chemicals and parts to restore the water treatment facility, namely cationic chemical coagulant, flow control valves and a motor power regulator. The spacer initially procured cationic chemical coagulant from the smuggler Dak Vox and then used it to replenish the mixing chamber of the filtration system. Subsequently, the spacer located flow control valves from a nearby pressurized liquid storage unit, utilizing them to repair the sedimentation tank. Finally, the spacer obtained a motor power regulator from Ralia Reeven, the quartermaster of the Lok Revenants, and employed it to fix the flocculation chamber. Thanks to the spacer's efforts, Phor Cl-lan successfully repaired the treatment facility, ensuring a supply of clean water for the city and its residents.
