Pich functioned as an Imperial aide to Advisor Coh Veshiv circa 0 ABY. At this time, Veshiv was conducting an inspection of the planet Esseles. Pich, along with another aide named Vestig, was with Veshiv aboard the CR90 corvette Empire Forever. They then accompanied Veshiv on the Lambda-class T-4a shuttle Myrenia to the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate [Far Orbit]. The captain of the EF76, Dhas Fenoep Vedij, had asserted that the Far Orbit would become Veshiv's new ship for his journeys. Unbeknownst to Veshiv, this was a ruse; the Far Orbit's crew were actually Alliance to Restore the Republic privateers who subsequently captured him.
The character Pich initially appeared in the adventure module The Capture of Coh Veshiv, which was part of The Far Orbit Project published in 1998. This module was written by Timothy S. O'Brien as a supplement for West End Games's Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. The fate of Pich during the events of Veshiv's capture remains unclear. The players themselves determine the outcome of the capture as part of the game.
