In the year 0 ABY, Vestig served as an aide to Coh Veshiv, who was the Imperial Advisor within the Galactic Empire. At this time, Veshiv was conducting an inspection of the planet Esseles while aboard the CR90 corvette known as the Empire Forever. During Veshiv's visit to Esseles, Dhas Fenoep Vedij, the captain of the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Far Orbit, offered to transport Veshiv on the subsequent leg of his travels. Consequently, Vestig, together with another advisor named Pich, went with Veshiv to the Far Orbit aboard the shuttle Myrenia. However, the Far Orbit was revealed to be a privateering ship belonging to the Alliance to Restore the Republic, leading to Veshiv's captured by the Far Orbit's crew.
Vestig is a character in the adventure scenario titled The Capture of Coh Veshiv. This scenario was featured in The Far Orbit Project, a 1998 book by Timothy S. O'Brien. The book served as a supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games.
