Plikk

Captain Plikk, a Human female officer within the ranks of the Imperial Navy, held command of a fleet that operated within a distant and unremarkable sector. She, along with her second-in-command, Lieutenant Nizzon, spent years quietly overseeing this area, encountering little conflict, until they unexpectedly discovered a peculiar dimensional tear in 3 ABY. Plikk guided her fleet through this opening, ultimately locating the City of Dreams, a utopian mental construct created by Cody Sunn-Childe, a one-time Rebel hero who had vanished under mysterious circumstances some years prior.

Driven by a deep yearning for the recognition she had long been denied, Plikk commanded her vessels to engage and obliterate the city, expending the last reserves of energy in their hyperdrives to power the offensive. This action, however, resulted in Plikk and her entire fleet becoming marooned within Sunn-Childe's alternate dimension, with no means of escape.

Behind the scenes

The initial appearance of Plikk occurred in Star Wars (1977) 46, a comic penned by John Marc DeMatteis and published in 1981. Carmine Infantino provided the artwork for Plikk's depiction in that particular issue.
