Luggage-transporting droids were known as porter droids. During a tour of Starlight Beacon led by administrator Shai Tennem, technicians Joss and Pikka Adren crossed paths with Tennem and the dignitaries he was guiding. Upon discovering that the Adrens were scheduled to leave the space station aboard the same starship as the majority of the dignitaries, Tennem tried to persuade the Adrens to participate in the tour, explaining that porter droids were available to collect their possessions from their living spaces.
