Protocol of Qah
The Qah Protocol represented a procedural guideline employed by the Yuuzhan Vong's Shaper caste. It detailed the methodology for imbuing a living organism with pre-programmed reflexes. In the year 26.5 ABY, Nen Yim, a Shaper Adept, attempted to kill the Master Shaper Kae Kwaad. Her method involved imprinting a set of reflexes onto a grutchin specifically triggered by Kwaad's unique scent.

The Qah Protocol was initially introduced to the reader in the book The New Jedi Order: Edge of Victory II: Rebirth, authored by Greg Keyes and published on July 31, 2001.
