Fiery energy

A Force power enabled a Force-user to produce and wield fire and fiery energy by rapidly agitating and heating air molecules.

The ability allowed for both the creation and guidance of flames. When generating fire, a Force-sensitive individual generally started with existing material, although a variation existed where a Jedi summoned flames from the sky, which was considered a form of Alter Environment. A prime example is Yarael Poof, renowned for igniting fires by manipulating the molecules of combustible substances. Leia Organa Solo also displayed the capacity to generate fire, notably when she used the Force to light several candles, mentioning that Luke Skywalker had shown her the technique.

When manipulating fire, a Force user could easily guide and manage pre-existing flames. In 52 BBY, Darth Sidious employed this ability to assassinate Senator Pax Teem, transforming a gentle fireplace flame into a raging inferno. Although not directly depicted, Darth Vader had a dream shortly before the Battle of Endor where Sidious created a fiery barrier between Vader and his son, Luke Skywalker, after revealing he was still alive. Jedi Master Knol Ven'nari had such mastery over this power that she could control and redirect an explosion, which she did to protect her companions, sacrificing her own life in the process.

This power was morally ambiguous, with both Jedi and Sith demonstrating equal proficiency in its application. Even other Force-sensitive groups, like the Nightsisters of Dathomir, were known to harness it. This is exemplified by Dresdema's attempt to cast a "spell of flame" against attacking Sith, suggesting the existence of a Nightsister equivalent to Pyrokinesis. Asajj Ventress utilized this power to part the flames around her, creating a safe passage before allowing them to close as she prepared to fight Anakin Skywalker.
