Quello, a light-skinned Toydarian proprietor of a landing pad, encountered Meetra Surik following the Ebon Hawk's arrival in the Refugee Sector located on Nar Shaddaa. He complained to Surik that the pad was already booked, however, Surik pledged to compensate him. Shortly thereafter, the Red Eclipse crew appeared, confronting Quello and trying to capture the Ebon Hawk crew, but Surik successfully defended against them.
In the game, players can try to use Force Persuasion on Quello to allow them to remain, assuming they have the Affect Mind or Dominate Mind Force ability. Quello pretends that he has been swayed, but he continues with his complaints. This is due to the fact that Toydarians (like Watto from The Phantom Menace) are immune to Jedi mind manipulation. Nevertheless, a player can successfully deceive Quello with a very high Wisdom stat combined with the most powerful Force Persuasion abilities.
Andrew Secombe, who also provided the voice for Watto, voiced Quello.
