Living on the planet of Dathomir in the village of Aurilia during the time of the Galactic Civil War was Quharek, a Mon Calamari.
Because the villagers were unable to pronounce his original Mon Calamari designation, Quharek adopted the name given to him by the village. Quharek was skilled in construction, resource acquisition, and the management of large construction endeavors, being a true craftsman. Following the demise of the village's Chief Engineer during a Sith Shadows assault, he delegated the repair of the village's damaged sensor array to another individual. Subsequently, he was entrusted with the restoration of the village's defense infrastructure. In pursuit of this objective, he solicited contributions from various artisans, inviting individuals with relevant expertise to contribute materials to the communal project. Later, he needed assistance in rebuilding the village's shields, and he asked many crafters to aid with this community project. He directed all contributors of materials to QT-QC, a binary loadlifter tasked with managing the resources utilized in the shield's reconstruction.
Following the capture of Mellichae and the village's expansion into a township, Quharek collaborated with Shaneeka, the newly appointed chief engineer, in the upkeep of the majority of Aurilia's electronic systems and machinery.
Quharek was featured as a non-player character within Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before the game's termination on December 15, 2011.
