Quith Meglar was a member of the Halisite group within the Nihil marauders during the High Republic Era. She served as a communications officer under General Abediah Viess in the Ministry of Protection. Longing to escape her situation within the Nihil, Meglar was ultimately persuaded by Rhil Dairo, a reporter and Nihil prisoner on the planet Hetzal Prime who was compelled to create broadcasts throughout the Occlusion Zone for the marauders. Dairo convinced her to aid in his escape so that he could be free. To reach any Jedi within Nihil territory, Meglar helped Dairo hide secret messages in her broadcasts. She offered to sneak them out of the Occlusion Zone in return for safe passage for herself and immunity from Galactic Republic legal action. Jedi Master Avar Kriss received one of these messages and traveled to Hetzal to meet with Meglar and Dairo. However, Viess discovered their scheme and ambushed them, resulting in Meglar's death. Despite this, Kriss and Dairo managed to flee due to the timely arrival of Master Porter Engle, who had also gotten the message asking for assistance.
