R00-8Y, also known as Ruby, was a customized DRK-1 Dark Eye probe droid. Mubo, who owned the Droid Depot located in the settlement of Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu, was Ruby's owner. Mubo configured R00-8Y to serve as his aide, and the probe droid was always with him. A notable feature of R00-8Y was a collection of enhanced functions, one of which was an odor neutralizer.
