R2-D2 - A Loyal Droid is the fourth installment of Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures. It was first shown on both the StarWarsKids.com website and the DisneyNOW website on November 30, 2018.
The episode begins as Princess Leia Organa is recording her hologram message for Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi using R2-D2. At that moment, C-3PO comes into the room and expresses his relief at finding R2-D2. Princess Leia then quickly hides herself. C-3PO questions R2-D2 about his whereabouts. C-3PO then hurries out into the hallway where a firefight is happening between stormtroopers and rebel troopers.
R2-D2 informs C-3PO that he is on a secret mission to deliver certain plans. R2-D2 avoids blaster fire as he moves past the corridor, with C-3PO trailing behind. R2-D2 encounters stormtroopers, but rebel troopers shoot at them, causing an explosion. R2-D2 goes through the smoke, followed by C-3PO. The pair then witness Darth Vader, wielding a lightsaber, walk past the corridor. The two hear the sound of a man screaming as Lord Vader strikes him down. As they get into an escape pod, C-3PO questions R2-D2's certainty about its safety. As the escape pod launches into space, C-3PO comments that he anticipates regretting his decision.
