R9-D9, an astromech droid by designation, was in the service of King Sanjay Rash of Onderon throughout the Clone Wars. As the conflict neared its end, R9 presented Rash and General Kalani with holographic representations of Steela Gerrera and Lux Bonteri while Akenathen Tandin conveyed to them that Steela's sibling, Saw, was also among the rebel leadership.
