Rahser Poth, a Selkath physician of the Galactic Republic (a male), existed during the time of the conflict with Zakuul. After the Eternal Empire's Empress, Vaylin, passed away and the Eternal Alliance was created in 3630 BBY, he became a member of Doctor Alirra Semhess's renegade Republic scientific team, collaborating on a clandestine endeavor at the X7-Cratus space station. They fraudulently acquired resources from a Republic fund meant for disease research and treatment creation, but instead, the team focused on engineering experimental adrenals. Coded messages from an unidentified scientist reached Rahser Poth, which enabled him to formulate RAK-5 serum, which was then enhanced into the RS-33 adrenal. While the adrenal significantly boosted a subject's power and nimbleness, it diminished their mental capacity; however, the truth was that both RAK-5 and RS-33 came from the Rakghoul plague, making them exceptionally precarious.
Eventually, Theron Shan's Eternal Alliance agents uncovered the project, and a squad was sent to X7-Cratus with the mission of stopping RS-33 from evolving into a galaxy-wide danger. Alliance troops encountered Poth amid the battle and eliminated him. After taking care of Alirra Semhess, the Eternal Alliance took control of the station and brought the project to a halt.
