Rani Quanic

Rani Quanic functioned as a Sullustan smuggler. Following the Battle of Endor, Quanic, together with Ostan Atur and Talak, perpetrated a theft, absconding with 100 kilograms of meleenium originating from the Qua'Tahc mines situated on the planet Af'El.

Biography

Quanic began her career in the shipping industry, specifically along the Ison Corridor. Although initially a trustworthy captain, she soon realized the potential for greater financial gain through smuggling spice and other high-value goods. After multiple encounters with Imperial customs frigates, she relocated to the Minos Cluster and began collaborating with Chordak. She later went back to the Ison Corridor, but faced capture and imprisonment. However, the Moff governing the Sullust system and Sin Suub granted the smuggler a pardon. This pardon came with the condition that she would work for SoroSuub and the Empire, doing anything she could to disrupt the Rebel smuggling operations.

After the Battle of Endor concluded, her priorities shifted towards acquiring starship construction materials for SoroSuub. She joined forces with Talak, an associate from her time in the Minos Cluster, who then introduced her to Ostan Atur. As a team, they conspired to pilfer a shipment of meleenium from the Ka'Dedus system. During the execution of this heist, a team of New Republic agents, including Kichilir, confronted the group. Quanic's crew managed to escape aboard her vessel, the Lathien Leth, but this act of theft resulted in Airen Cracken issuing a warrant for her arrest.

Personality and traits

Quanic displayed minimal interest in the political landscape of the Galaxy, focusing solely on accumulating credits. She exhibited a disregard for legal boundaries and was willing to undertake any action that would secure her a financially comfortable retirement. She was generally quiet and withdrawn, possessing a cynical perspective on life.

Equipment

Quanic typically wore a Y-Wing flight suit, and she piloted a Nella 342 light freighter known as the Lathien Leth.
