Ravik, a Grand Moff within the Galactic Empire, was a male being in charge of the Tolonda Oversector. At a gathering on the planet Ryloth, while playing sabacc, Ravik noticed Lieutenant Ralchio Nervi from the 14th Sector Fleet. Because of Ralchio's connection to Lila Nervi of the Nervi family, Ravik elevated him to captain of Ralchio Nervi's task force. Nervi aimed to overthrow Grand Moff Ravik by seizing a Rebel Alliance-aligned facility located on the planet Xorrn and discovering the location of the Alliance Fleet. He intentionally did not report his attack, fearing Ravik would dispatch another officer to claim victory.
