Razhak

Razhaks were a type of worm species lacking sentience. They inhabited the frigid planet of Ilum, which is situated in the Unknown Regions.

Biology and appearance

These worms, known as Razhaks, were formidable predators that tunneled extensively throughout Ilum. Their wide, flat bodies were protected by armored plates. Lacking limbs, they moved using powerful muscular ridges shielded by tough, chitinous plates.

In the planet's pitch-black depths, segmented antennae on their heads functioned as both olfactory organs and substitutes for eyes. Their carnivorous diet was evident in their mouths, which were filled with numerous rows of jagged teeth. Razhaks lived solitary lives and were known for their speed and agility. When ready to strike, they could rear up like snakes. They possessed the ability to generate extreme heat, allowing them to melt ice for burrowing or to burn enemies with their exposed skin.
