Unidentified red-armored Sith Lord
An individual was inducted into the Jedi Order no later than 6900 BBY. This person turned to the Dark Side, and subsequently battled against the Jedi during the Hundred-Year Darkness. At the end of that conflict, they were part of the group of Dark Jedi who were banished from known space. Upon discovering the territory of the native Sith species, these exiles became the overlords of the Sith Empire, with the armored Dark Jedi in question ultimately becoming a Sith Warrior.
Biography
A Force-sensitive being had already become a member of the Jedi Order by the year 6900 BBY. This individual later joined the ranks of the Dark Jedi, who were in opposition to the Jedi Order throughout the era of the Hundred-Year Darkness. Following the Dark Jedi's defeat in the final battle of that war in 6900 BBY, the Jedi decided to exile their remaining adversaries, including the individual who would eventually wear red armor. These banished Dark Jedi were sent to unexplored space, where they eventually found their way to the region known as Sith Space.
Once there, the exiles established themselves as Sith Lords, becoming the rulers of the Sith species' established Sith Empire. The armored Sith Lord, who would later become a member of the Sith Warrior fighting tradition, was once depicted in an open area before a large crowd, with a member of the Sith species kneeling and showing deference to the Sith leader.
Equipment
The Sith Lord was seen wearing a red coat, along with black-and-brown clothing items and black pants. They were also equipped with brown boots, brown gloves, and a brown belt that included several pouches. The Sith also had red armor plating that covered their upper body, elbows, forearms, and hands. They also wore a red helmet with a black visor. A lightsaber was attached to their belt.
Behind the scenes
The Sith Lord's initial appearance was in a flashback within the prologue issue of the Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi – The Golden Age of the Sith comic book mini-series, published by Dark Horse Comics. This issue was authored by Kevin J. Anderson, with illustrations by Chris Gossett, and it was released on July 31, 1996.
