Reeksas were a type of carnivorous plant species native to the Outer Rim planet of Iego. These plant organisms were adapted to thrive in the dimly lit depths of canyons, where they subsisted by trapping and consuming living creatures. They were characterized by sharp, spike-like teeth and poisonous thorns lining their stems. These reeksas exhibited a predatory behavior similar to animals when hunting for food, and could even produce sounds resembling the hisses of a snake. The root of the reeksa plant was a vital component in the cure used to treat the deadly Blue Shadow Virus.
