Rekush

Rekush, a Mon Calamari officer, served as a key assistant to Gial Ackbar. He identified Feylis Ardele to Wedge Antilles as a potential addition to Rogue Squadron.

Behind the scenes

In 1998, Peet Janes wrote Star Wars Handbook 1: X-Wing Rogue Squadron for Dark Horse Comics, which contained a brief biography of Feylis Ardele that mentioned Rekush. This Handbook was reprinted in 2005 as part of the Omnibus X-Wing Rogue Squadron Volume 1; however, the reprinting significantly shortened many entries, including the removal of Rekush's mention.
