Rel Rogock was a miner of the male gender and Human species. He resided on Lok while employed as a miner during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Rel Rogock's place of work was a mining facility run by the forces of the Galactic Empire, where he held the position of grand foreman.

In the year 1 ABY, the miners accidentally broke into a pocket filled with gas, which then released toxic fumes into the mine. Although the gas did not cause physical harm, it induced insanity and heightened aggression in the miners. Rel Rogock, along with Teemu Komo, the mine's controller, then directed the miners in uncoordinated assaults against the inhabitants of Lok. The Lok Revenants, Nym's powerful criminal organization on Lok, would later discover the situation in the mine. Jinkins, Nym's chief engineer, made the decision to secure a gas sample for study, with the intention of potentially weaponizing it. Consequently, Jinkins assigned a group of adventurous spacers within the Lok Revenants to retrieve a sample of the toxic gas. As Jinkins prepared for the mission, Grenz Zittoun, another of Nym's lieutenants, recognized the raid on the mine as an opportunity to eliminate both the mine controller and the grand foreman. Subsequently, the Lok Revenants launched an assault on the Imperial mine, successfully acquiring a sealed container containing the poisonous gas for Jinkins. During the raid, the spacers engaged and killed both Rel Rogock and Teemu Komo, effectively ending the attacks on the population of Lok.
Rel Rogock appeared as a non-player character in the 2003 video game known as Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Rogock was implemented into the game as a part of the "Nym's Theme Park" revamp, which was released with "Game Update 16" on March 23, 2010.
During the conversation that initiates the quest "Out of My Mine," Grenz Zittoun made an incorrect statement, identifying the Grand Foreman of the Imperial Mine as Ran Machado. However, Machado was actually a member of the Lok Revenants.
