Relnex was a Jedi Master of the Human species (specifically, male), who dedicated his life to the service of both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic. He was active during the Cold War, a period marked by the return of the Sith Empire.
Relnex, a Human with sensitivity to the Force, underwent training by the Jedi Order in the ways of the Force. This training led to his eventual promotion to the esteemed rank of Jedi Master. After the Great Galactic War concluded and the Sith Empire re-emerged, Master Relnex, along with his fellow Jedi, journeyed back to Tython, the Jedi's ancient home planet, to assist in the rebuilding efforts during the Cold War.
While stationed at the training ground located within the Tythonian Gnarls, Master Relnex engaged in combat with the indigenous Flesh Raiders, who were launching frequent and violent assaults on Jedi-controlled areas. A scar marked his left cheek, a lasting reminder of his combat experiences during the war.
