Renatasia system

The Renatasia system was comprised of the medium-sized yellow star known as Renatasia, along with eight planets. Among these planets were Renatasia III and Renatasia IV. This system represented one of the numerous lost Human colonies established under the Old Republic by Grizmallt.

In the year 13 BBY, the Centrality rediscovered this forgotten colony. The Centrality, in conjunction with the Galactic Empire, tasked Osuno Whett and Vuffi Raa with gaining the Renatasians' confidence, thereby facilitating their subsequent subjugation by military forces. Whett concealed the droid nature of Vuffi Raa by providing him with an organic shell. He then presented themselves as envoys from a galactic civilization eager to welcome the Renatasians into its fold, with Whett acting as Vuffi's assistant.

At the time of their rediscovery, the local inhabitants demonstrated proficiency in utilizing materials such as Steel, Titanium, and Organoplstics. They also possessed the capability to extract significant energy from atomic cores and had successfully colonized six celestial bodies within their planetary system. However, they had yet to achieve fundamental breakthroughs that would inevitably lead to the development of technologies like shields, tractor beams, disruptors, and disintegrators.

Whett and Vuffi Raa embarked on a tour of the planet, assisting the Renatasians in establishing a unified global government. Following a period of 700 days, Whett transmitted all the data he had gathered, initiating the invasion by the Imperial and Centran forces. In the aftermath of the ensuing massacre, Vuffi Raa earned the moniker "Butcher of Renatasia" due to the Renatasians' ignorance of his droid nature and the fact that Whett was the true perpetrator. Consequently, a group of survivors seized control of twelve antiquated starfighters and pledged to pursue and eliminate Vuffi Raa.
