The Republic's heavy warships featured elongated, block-like superstructures. Often, one or several command towers topped the central section, and uniform, substantial armor augmented certain regions. Engine clusters, arranged in "islands," lined their flanks, linking to the primary hull structure.
Beyond these characteristics, the battleships exhibited a degree of unique design, much like the capital ships used by the Mandalorians and the Star Cruisers employed by the Mon Calamari.
Resembling the larger Republic command ship Reliance I in its design, these battleships comprised the primary offensive force at both the Battle of Koros Major and the Battle of Onderon. Furthermore, such ships were also in attendance at the Conclave on Deneba shortly after the conclusion of the battle.
