The Resilient, a Venator-class Star Destroyer, served within the Republic Navy during the era of the Clone Wars. Back in 22 BBY, it formed part of a Republic task force under the leadership of Jedi Generals Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, and Tauht. This task force was deployed to the planet of Khorm with the mission of securing the precious agrocite mineral resources located there. However, by the time the Jedi forces reached Khorm, the Confederacy of Independent Systems had already seized control of the planet. During the battle that ensued, the Resilient functioned as the dedicated flagship for Republic Admiral Wieler. Due to a Separatist-generated storm raging within Khorm's atmosphere, Wieler was initially unable to deploy his space forces. However, once the storm dissipated, he utilized the Resilient and the rest of the fleet to provide crucial support to the Republic ground troops.

The Resilient, a Venator-class Star Destroyer, was a vessel used by the Republic Navy during the early stages of the Clone Wars. On at least one occasion, it served as the personal flagship of Republic Admiral Wieler. Similar to all Republic Venator-class Star Destroyers, the Resilient featured a dual bridge tower. Additionally, sections of its hull were painted red. The ship housed several LAAT/i gunships and V-19 Torrent starfighters onboard.
Constructed by Kuat Drive Yards, the Resilient was one of many Venator-class Star Destroyers. In the year 22 BBY, the Resilient, accompanied by two other Venator-class vessels under Wieler's command, was dispatched to the planet of Khorm. This deployment was part of a Republic task force led by Jedi Generals Plo Koon, Kit Fisto, and Tauht. The Jedi were given the task of securing Khorm's deposits of agrocite, a rare and valuable mineral that could significantly enhance the power output of starfighters. Upon arriving at Khorm, Wieler positioned the Resilient and the rest of his forces in orbit around the planet. However, by this time, the Confederacy of Independent Systems had already captured the planet, forcing the Jedi to fight to secure the agrocite. After the initial Republic ground forces landed, a storm developed in Khorm's atmosphere, preventing Wieler from sending in reinforcements.
While the Jedi fought the Separatists on the ground, a lone starship—Trident belonging to Separatist Dark Jedi Asajj Ventress—managed to bypass the Resilient and the other Venators and headed towards the planet surface. Wieler sent a pair of V-19 Torrent starfighters to intercept the ship, but the Trident successfully reached the planet through a gap in the storm. The V-19s were destroyed when this opening closed. Analyzing the storm, Wieler discovered that the atmospheric disturbance was centered near the main Separatist agrocite mine, which the Jedi were trying to liberate. Wieler contacted the Jedi from the Resilient's bridge and informed them of the situation. The Jedi correctly deduced that the storm was created by a Separatist weather-control station and set out to destroy it. Koon and Fisto succeeded in taking down the station, causing the storm to dissipate. This allowed Wieler to bring the Resilient and the rest of his forces into Khorm's atmosphere and provide assistance to Republic Major Kendal Ozzel, whose forces had been nearly decimated by Ventress. Ultimately, the Republic emerged victorious in the Battle of Khorm.

During the Battle of Khorm, the Resilient was under the command of Admiral Wieler, a Human male. Wieler did everything he could to assist the Jedi in their fight, although he was initially prevented from doing so due to the storm. After the storm subsided, Wieler's prompt intervention saved the Republic troops on the surface from certain defeat. The Resilient carried a number of clone troopers onboard.
The Resilient made its first appearance in the seventh issue of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars comic series. This issue was authored by Henry Gilroy and Steven Melching, with illustrations by Scott Hepburn. It was released on July 15, 2009.
