Fallen Revan's Lightsaber
Darth Revan's Lightsaber (Fallen) was the personal weapon of Revan, who transitioned from a Jedi to the Sith Lord known as Darth. He carried it both before and during his time as the Dark Lord of the Sith. Its destruction came about when Darth Malak opened fire upon his Master's ship.
When Bastila Shan attempted to apprehend Darth Revan, he was wielding his Sith lightsaber.
This weapon was first utilized by Revan in the waning years of the Mandalorian Wars, including its use against Mandalore the Ultimate. After the Sith Emperor corrupted Revan to the dark side of the Force, he retained the saber as his signature weapon, swapping out the original blue crystal for a synthetic crimson one.
During the time of the Jedi Civil War, Revan employed this weapon in combat against the Jedi Order. It is particularly notable for its use during the strike team led by Bastila Shan to capture the Dark Lord on his capital ship. Its destruction was all but certain when Malak targeted the bridge of Revan's ship, nearly resulting in the Dark Lord's death.
Behind the Scenes
The lightsaber hilt initially appeared as the standard one-handed lightsaber hilt in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a video game that was developed by BioWare and launched in 2003. It was officially identified as Darth Revan's lightsaber in 2008 and featured in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia. The lightsaber was then incorporated into the video game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes in 2018 as the weapon for the "Jedi Knight Revan" character. The "Darth Revan" character, who was added in 2019, wielded a different lightsaber typically associated with Revan after his redemption. In 2020, the lightsaber became available on the Star Wars: The Old Republic Cartel Market as "Fallen Revan's Lightsaber".
