The Rime Feeorin represented the age-old legal framework of the Feeorin people, a system already in place during the era of the Mandalorian Wars.
This Rime Feeorin is documented to have contained stipulations such as:
- No individual from outside the Feeorin race could be permitted access to the Sanctum of the Exalted.
- Any individual who gained entry to the Sanctum of the Exalted was granted immunity from weaponry; they 'cannot be harmed by blade or bludgeon while the Sanctum stands'. Consequently, physical combat was restricted to unarmed engagement.
- The commands of the Exalted were to be followed without question.
Feln, a member of the Jedi Covenant, is recorded as having violated the Rime Feeorin during his leadership, transforming the Sanctum into a repository for Sith artifacts. Following the destruction of the Sanctum of the Exalted, the binding nature of the Rime Feeorin's regulations was nullified, thus enabling the Feeorin to kill the defenseless Feln utilizing basic weaponry.
