The Rishii were an intelligent avian species native to the high-altitude mountainous regions of the planet Rishi. Preferring a life of seclusion, the Rishii were known for their friendly nature and lack of interest in sophisticated technological advancements. Under the leadership of Chief Gwark during the Clone Wars, they allied with the Galactic Republic in order to successfully repel the invading Geonosian forces of the Separatists.
