Rob Bottin collaborated with Rick Baker as a creature designer for Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, finalizing the sculpting of Pons Limbic's mask following Baker's initial preliminary work. Although he did not receive credit in the movie, he also played one of the Bith musicians in Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes.
