Robeskins were a prevalent type of clothing used by the Yuuzhan Vong. Although they offered minimal defense, they represented the most frequently seen attire for members of the Worker caste, the Shamed Ones, and Familiars. In essence, they resembled a dense, gelatinous fabric. Despite being easily torn apart, they possessed the ability to continuously grow, enabling the creation of other garments by weaving them from the Robeskin material. These Robeskins sustained themselves by absorbing the perspiration and natural oils secreted by the individual wearing them. Furthermore, they could facilitate the recuperation process in case of injury by consuming dead tissue and harmful microorganisms. Jacen Solo was fond of the Robeskin that Vergere had provided for him, appreciating its self-cleaning properties and even fashioning durable, long-lasting socks from the material.
