The Roche Foundation Prize was an academic honor, sharing its designation with several entities: the droid producer known as Roche Hive, the celestial body called Roche, and the Roche Asteroid Field. Before his death in 1 BBY, the scientist Galen Erso, an expert in kyber crystals, was a recipient of this prize.
