Roche existed in the galaxy's Mid Rim, specifically at coordinates Q-8 on the Standard Galactic Grid, nestled along the Perlemian Trade Route between Lantillies and Abhean. The name "Roche" was also used by the Verpine for their Roche Hive, a company that built droids, as well as for the Roche Foundation Prize. The Clone Wars saw a sneak attack on Roche take place; Has Obitt, the Dressellian smuggler, found himself embroiled in this conflict.
