Lantillies, a world situated in the Mid Rim region of the galaxy, lay at the intersection of the Perlemian Trade Route and the Randon Run. By the year 14 BBY, it accommodated a Galactic Empire installation. Following the theft of the corvette Carrion Spike from Governor Wilhuff Tarkin by a rebel cell, and its subsequent use in an attack against TaggeCo mining operations on Lucazec, Imperial forces from both Lantillies and Centares underwent rapid reallocation efforts to safeguard other potentially vulnerable Imperial holdings. Vice Admiral Dodd Rancit, secretly complicit in the attacks, later expressed concerns to Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine that Lantillies could become a target because of its reduced defenses; however, the base remained untouched by the corvette, as Tarkin eliminated the rebel cell. Nix Jerd, a Resistance bombardier, hailed from Lantillies as his homeworld.
Paul Murphy conceived Lantillies for the Star Wars Legends Star Wars Campaign Pack, which West End Games published in 1988. The canon status of this location was affirmed by James Luceno's novel, Tarkin, which came out in 2015.
