The Tagge Corporation, alternatively called TaggeCo, was a business venture owned and managed by the House of Tagge, with its primary operations based within the region of Tagge Space.
The organization was well-known for its considerable investments into the study of Gungan technological advancements. During the concluding decades of the Galactic Republic era, it was significantly engaged in the commercialization and distribution of various food products. At that time, the company's central strategy planning offices were situated on the planet Coruscant. Throughout the reign of the Galactic Empire, the corporation also engaged in mining endeavors and scientific investigations, notably including the development of weaponry.
By the year 3 ABY, the corporation was under the leadership of Lady Domina Tagge, who also presided over the company's Executive Board. Domina received protection from an Honor Guard. Assisting Domina in her duties was her secretary, Lapin Tagge. In 3 ABY, the colony situated on the moon of Gortus 4 transferred its rights to the moon over to TaggeCo, prompting Domina to promptly instruct Lapin to have TaggeCo's Construction Division establish an ore processing facility on the moon before the week's end.
A struggle for power arose when Domina's nephew, Ronen Tagge, made an attempt to seize control of the corporation. By forming alliances with Crimson Dawn and Sana Starros' crew, Ronen initiated a full-scale battle to gain dominion over Tagge Space. However, the truth was that Sana Starros had secretly reached an agreement with Domina to assist in eliminating Ronen. Overestimating his capabilities, Ronen's efforts ultimately failed due to his underestimation of Domina's aide, Lapin Tagge. Having openly acknowledged his collaboration with Crimson Dawn and the fact that his assault had resulted in the loss of company personnel, Domina was then at liberty to execute her nephew. In light of her assistance, Starros declared that her crew's obligations to the Tagge Corporation had been fulfilled and that she was entitled to a new spacecraft.
Many years following the defeat of the Empire, TaggeCo remained in operation. One of its subsidiary companies, Galacti-Stok, manufactured the Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer, a dewormer specifically formulated to manage and eliminate parasites from happabores.
