The Tagge Family, also referenced as the House of Tagge or the Tagge dynasty, constituted a noble and affluent human lineage. They were the proprietors of the Tagge Corporation, a company that operated mining operations on Lucazec and maintained at least one subsidiary known as Galacti-Stok. According to information provided by Chelli Aphra, the Tagges even possessed entire planets. The galaxy region under the control of the House of Tagge was referred to as Tagge Space.
A prominent figure from the family was Cassio Tagge of Tepasi, a Galactic Empire officer who ascended to the rank of Grand General. Following the Battle of Yavin, he was given command of the entire Imperial Military. Mon Mothma, the Rebel Commander-in-Chief, stated that the Tagge family was a familiar presence to anyone moving within the Coruscant elite circles. Finmos Tagge, who held the position of Father of Chemicals in Coronet City on Corellia during the High Republic Era, and Aurelia Tagge, the owner of the _Nau'ur_-class yacht Scarlet Dominion, shared the family's surname.
Killian and Sanya Tagge, who were in charge of the Tagge Corporation, were among the members of the House of Tagge. They had four children: Domina, Orman, Silas, and Ulric. Domina was the youngest of the four.
Cassio Tagge, the Grand General and Supreme Commander of the Imperial Military, was also a member. Adelaide Tagge and Lapin Tagge were Domina's cousins. Brace Tagge-Faulken, an Imperial officer, Layla Tagge-Faulken and her son Forthe, and Ronen Tagge, Domina's nephew and the son of Adelaide and Felix Tagge, were also members of the family.
The Tagge family was initially introduced with the character Cassio Tagge in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.
