Tepasi, a planet situated within the Core Worlds sector of the galaxy, held significance as the birthplace of Cassio Tagge, the Grand General who served the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. Tagge, hailing from the distinguished House of Tagge, shared a connection with Tepasi, as did Tepasi taffy, which bore the same designation.
The initial reference to Tepasi appeared in HoloNet News Vol. 531 49, a collection of fictional news reports from the Star Wars Legends universe. These articles, created by Pablo Hidalgo and Paul Ens, were published on the HoloNet News website in 2002. Its status as canon was later established in the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, which saw release in 2015.
