Delve deeper than the cinematic experience with this novelization, offering additional scenes and expanded content.

As the Empire's influence spreads ominously across the galaxy, unsettling reports begin to surface. The Rebellion has uncovered a dark Imperial scheme to subjugate entire planets. Hidden within Imperial territory, a weapon of unimaginable destructive capacity is nearing completion. It's a weapon too frightening to imagine, and a threat that may be insurmountable.

The only hope for the worlds under the Empire's control rests on an unlikely alliance: Jyn Erso, a young woman driven by a thirst for revenge; Cassian Andor, a battle-hardened rebel officer; Bodhi Rook, a former member of the Imperial military who has defected; Chirrut Îmwe, a blind spiritual warrior and his skilled marksman companion, Baze Malbus; and K-2SO, a lethal Imperial droid that has turned against its former masters. They hold the key to a crucial Rebellion victory, but only if they can secure the plans for the Empire's devastating new weapon.

However, as they pursue their perilous objective, the looming presence of their ultimate adversary—a monstrous world in its own right—casts a shadow over the skies. It stands ready to announce the Empire's reign of terror with a wave of destruction befitting its infamous name: Death Star.
