Rozatta, affectionately called Roz, was a female Toydarian who shared a close friendship with bounty hunter Jango Fett. She also maintained a friendship with Watto, another Toydarian who operated as a junk dealer on the desert planet of Tatooine. Roz was the proprietor of Outland Station, a space-based establishment that hosted various underworld activities, including pit fighting competitions.
For many years, Rozatta presided over Outland Station, regularly aiding the bounty hunter Jango Fett by providing information on potential bounties, sometimes even directing him to their locations in exchange for a small commission.
Rozatta summoned Fett back to her station to claim the bounty on Meeko Ghintee, a Muttani wanted for numerous offenses. Ghintee was present at her station, caught cheating in the pit-fighting games through the use of a remote device to manipulate his creature.
However, Ghintee's capture wasn't the sole reason for Roz's call to Fett. A message intended for the renowned bounty hunter had arrived from an individual named Tyranus. Tyranus offered Fett a substantial sum of five million Republic credits to locate and either capture or eliminate Komari Vosa, the leader of the notorious Bando Gora.
Rozatta cautioned Fett against accepting the bounty, emphasizing the significant risks involved, warning that it could either "make" or "break" him. She expressed her desire for Fett to abandon bounty hunting and instead "find a good woman, settle down, and start a family." Despite her warnings, Fett disregarded her concerns, and Roz still provided Fett with leads to various bounties that could potentially lead Fett to Vosa.
Rozatta's hopes were rekindled when Fett partnered with Zam Wesell. Describing Wesell as "quite the looker," Roz was later disheartened when Wesell betrayed Fett to Gardulla the Hutt. She remarked to Fett that she had hoped they would "become a couple."
Unbeknownst to both Fett and Rozatta, the bounty hunter known as Montross was monitoring Fett's transmissions, uncovering his sources of bounty information. Montross infiltrated her station, coercing Rozatta into revealing all the information she had gathered regarding Vosa. Montross departed, but not before planting thermal charges throughout the station. Upon discovering Montross's actions against Roz, Fett swiftly returned to rescue her. However, he found the Toydarian severely injured and broken; she disclosed Vosa's location. She then provided Fett with a recording device to guide him to Vosa and urged him to live for something beyond monetary gain. Rozatta died at the station, and Fett escaped moments before Rozatta's body and the station were destroyed in an explosion.
Fett ultimately honored Rozatta's dying wish when he successfully defeated Vosa, and Tyranus offered him the opportunity to serve as the template for a clone army. Fett agreed, but only under the condition that he receive the first clone for himself, unaltered, so he could raise him as his own son.
Throughout the course of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Rozatta is seen wearing a variety of unusual hats. One of her many hats is, in fact, a real-world high-heeled shoe worn upside down.
Lucille Bliss provided the voice for Rozatta in Bounty Hunter.
When attempting to dissuade Jango Fett from pursuing Komari Vosa, Rozatta utters the line "I have a bad feeling about this." Fett responds with "what else is new?," possibly referencing the phrase's widespread use within the Star Wars universe. She later says "I told you I had a bad feeling" when Jango returns to her following her beating by Montross.
