Sabaoth Squadron

Sabaoth Squadron was a collection of starfighter pilots operating as mercenaries. They made use of privately owned support starships and specially modified starfighters. This squadron fought alongside the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Separatist Crisis, a period of secessionist unrest. They augmented the Confederacy's orbital power in battles where droid starfighters proved insufficient. The squadron played a crucial role in the Confederacy's initial operations, including a battle on the planet of Geonosis that triggered the Clone Wars against the Galactic Republic, where the squadron lent their aid. Despite suffering significant casualties during the First Battle of Geonosis, this mercenary outfit continued its operations well into the conflict.
