The Salenga constituted a sentient species inhabiting the galaxy. Their physical characteristics included pink skin, yellow eyes featuring vertical eyelids and triangular pupils, and hands equipped with a thumb, a finger, and a broad, singular appendage in place of the multiple fingers found on humans and other species with comparable hand structures. Furthermore, Salenga possessed a skin flap that descended from the rear of their head, giving the appearance of long hair. A female Salenga named Ione Marcy operated as a thief upon Coruscant throughout the period of the Clone Wars.
