Samish Kash was a male Human who governed the planet of Delaluna. His reign coincided with Lorian Nod's death during the era of the Clone Wars.
Soon after his election as regent, Kash spearheaded discussions with Lorian Nod, an emissary from Junction V. Kash aimed to resolve the existing distrust between their worlds, advocating for unrestricted trade and travel, which Nod supported, seeking to atone for past errors. However, during the Clone Wars, the Separatists sought to control the major systems located in the Mid Rim. Consequently, Count Dooku, along with the other three regents, invited Kash to the planet Null. He was accompanied by his bodyguards, Floria and Dane, both former bounty hunters. He and Floria were romantically involved.
Prior to the commencement of negotiations, bounty hunter Robior Web, contracted by Dooku to assassinate Kash and compel the Delalunan resistance to align with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, nearly killed Kash. Though injured in the attack, Lorian ensured Kash received timely treatment at a local med center, saving his life. Following the arrival of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, accompanied by Floria and Dane, who came to rescue Kash and locate Dooku, Samish Kash recovered from his injuries. He then aligned Delaluna with the Galactic Republic, bringing Delaluna onto the Republic's side. The other regents, disapproving of Dooku, also pledged their allegiance to the Republic.
