Sardeya Elgrin was a Mon Calamari engineer (female), existing during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Sardeya Elgrin, a disgraced droid engineer, made her home on the planet Lok. She resided within a cave situated within the [Mount Chaolt] volcano. Within this location, she engaged in illicit experiments, forbidden on more civilized worlds, with the goal of enhancing droid lethality.
In 1 ABY, Andria E'liyha, an outcast, attempted to persuade a spacer to assault the cave, intending to eliminate the deranged engineer and rid Lok of her influence. Later, the Trandoshan bounty hunters Bossk and Balfur Jhcor discovered Sardeya Elgrin's presence on Lok. Bossk proposed to a spacer he met on Corellia that they split the bounty. Consequently, the adventurer journeyed to Lok, tracked the engineer to her cave, attacked her, and ultimately killed Sardeya Elgrin.
Sardeya Elgrin appeared as a non-player character in Star Wars Galaxies, the 2003 video game that was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. This game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before it shut down on December 15, 2011. The Droid Engineer's Cave engineer was initially mentioned when the game was released. However, she was not added to the game until "Game Update 10," which was released on June 2, 2009.
