Balfur Jhcor was a Trandoshan male who worked as a bounty hunter during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Balfur Jhcor formed an association with Bossk, another Trandoshan operating as a bounty hunter. In 1 ABY, Balfur and Bossk identified three significant bounties located on the planet Lok: Joti Laike, Sardeya Elgrin, and Oono Mor'in. While Bossk was occupied on Corellia tracking the Bofa Treat Gang, Balfur successfully located and tracked these individuals. On Corellia, Bossk encountered a skilled spacer and recruited them to assist Balfur in collecting the bounties. This spacer journeyed to Lok, where they met with Balfur Jhcor in the vicinity of Nym's Stronghold. Subsequently, the spacer tracked down and successfully eliminated all three bounties. Meanwhile, Bossk persuaded Balfur to eliminate the spacer to avoid sharing the bounty rewards. Upon the spacer's return to Balfur, the bounty hunter launched an attack, but the spacer prevailed. Balfur then apologized for allowing Bossk to manipulate him and decided to give up his life as a bounty hunter. He also surrendered all of his weapons to the spacer.
Balfur Jhcor appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before the game's servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Balfur Jhcor was integrated into the game through "Game Update 10," which was released on June 2, 2009.
