The Sarjenn 3 port served as the only port facility on the moon of Sarjenn 3. This port was, at a later time, transformed into a fortified base for the rebel forces. Following the Battle of Yavin, Darth Vader transported Sulaco to her family's home located at the port, with the intention of turning her from a rebel spy into a double agent working for the Galactic Empire. During this particular operation, Vader caused significant destruction to various sections of the port-city, which included the demolition of some of its exterior walls and a substantial building situated in the port's central area.
