Sarnus, a planet situated within the Chiloon Rift region of Wild Space, saw Lando Calrissian set up a refinery in 45 ABY. This refinery was built to extract resources from the numerous asteroids abundant in the rift.
At Lando's refinery, Han Solo was targeted in a failed assassination plot, orchestrated by Marvid together with Craitheus Qreph. The attempt's failure, however, resulted in a death toll exceeding 30,000 individuals.
