Kaktorf held the rank of Jedi Master and served as the mentor to the Kyuzo Savina Besatrix Malagán, while also leading the Jedi Temple located on Takodana throughout the High Republic Era. More than one hundred years following the Battle of Jedha, both Malagán and the pirate Maz Kanata would still recall, with amusement, the Jedi's response after Malagán embarked on a clandestine and unsanctioned mission to fight with Maz Kanata's crew.
