The scout trooper corps was a specialized division within the Stormtrooper Corps of the Imperial Army, populated by scout troopers, and considered a corps. Similar to other stormtrooper units in the Empire, the corps had an earlier version in the Galactic Republic, namely the clone scout troopers. As for the scout trooper's urban counterpart, the patrol troopers collaborated with local law enforcement agencies to manage traffic flow.
