Season of the Force

The inaugural Season of the Force occurred at Disneyland in California, commencing on November 16, 2015. This preceded the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and brought additions like Disneyland's Hyperspace Mountain, the Star Wars Launch Bay exhibit, the Path of the Jedi film compilation, and Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple. Coinciding with this period, Disney's Hollywood Studios within Walt Disney World hosted related activities; however, the "Season of the Force" title was not officially applied there, despite some initial indications. Disneyland's initial event spanned from September 2016, and then it was revived from January to June of 2017. The revival featured new banners depicting characters from the entire saga throughout Tomorrowland.

A version at Disneyland Paris resort was initially presented between January 14 and March 26, 2017, located at Walt Disney Studios Park, with smaller events at Disneyland Park. It showcased the nighttime spectacular, Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration, blending special effects, on-stage action, and a light and sound show around the park to immerse guests in the Star Wars universe. During the daytime, visitors could also encounter various characters from the saga, including heroes and Stormtrooper patrols, and had the opportunity to align themselves as either Darksiders or join Chewbacca and the Resistance. It was held again from January 13th to March 25th, 2018, featuring similar events and an added exhibition of fan-created Star Wars vehicles. The subsequent year, Disneyland Paris hosted a comparable event, rebranded as "Legends of the Force – A Celebration of Star Wars."

Season of the Force made its return to Disneyland California on April 5th, 2024, and continued until June 2nd, 2024. The event's commencement coincided with the introduction of new Star Tours: The Adventures Continue scenes inspired by Ahsoka, The Mandalorian, and Andor. These scenes also debuted at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Paris. The 2024 event also included Fire of the Rising Moons, a new nighttime show, which offered an alternative way to experience the park's fireworks from within the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area.
