Sector 3, situated on Ryloth, was found in the western outskirts of that planet. Not long after the Galactic Empire was formed, an Imperial convoy traveled through Sector 3. This convoy transported Twi'lek prisoners, among whom was Hera, the daughter of General Cham Syndulla, and was headed for Lessu, the capital city. Before arriving at its intended destination, the attacked convoy was ambushed in an attempt by Cham and his spouse Eleni to free the captured individuals.
